run amok 30/07/08 - Well, it's finished. It was finished some months ago, but it just didn't quite make it's way here. The album that we worked so long on, for the foreseeable future, will be the last thing that Run Amok ever did. We are, as those too weak to end a relationship say, 'on a break'. I daresay it will be indefinite. I really would've loved it to have not come to this, but three members doth not a band make. I put every ounce of heart I could into this record, and it is the proof that we existed. So, if you had any connection to the band or its music at all, please download it and listen to it. This is my gift to you after 4 long years. Close Your Eyes And Just Run Thank you all for your time, your attention, and your beer. It's been a blast.  Almost directly after writing 'we weren't supposed to live like this', one of my best friends died. The timing was just unbelievable. It was a difficult year, filled with loss, heartbreak, tragedy and failure. A lot of things have been put in perspective and even more things have been put out of perspective. My only hope is that something good can rise from the ashes of what was undoubtdly one of the toughest years of my entire life. |
