When I first moved to Brisbane in 2001, I was living with the drummer from my first band. Dane and Hayden had also moved at the same time, and since we both had half of our first bands in the same city, we thought it made sense to combine them and start a new band. Thus, loss4words and Skint became 4FS, and fun ensued. We only ever played a handful of shows and they weren't really very good. The only record we really have of that band is this EP which was never officially released. I didn't actually play on this record as it was actually recorded by Skint while they were still in Mackay, but since the songs were absorbed into 4FS, we distributed them online as our own. The band died on its own in early 2002 when everyone lost interest and stopped practising, with the exception of a reunion show in 2003 for the Long & Loud Festival. back
